Program Director-Sue Alger, RN
Years ago I worked as a staff nurse in the hospital as well as a shift supervisor. Just prior to hospice, I worked in home health. I have worked at Hardin County Hospice since July of 1988, I was a visit nurse and patient care coordinator for Hardin County Hospice for seventeen years prior to becoming the Program Director. I also taught in the RN program at the now, Rhodes College. My most rewarding experience is being able to share in people's lives as they walk through this very sacred time, to help, support, and care for these patients and families. I always felt I received more than I gave! I enjoy reading (in my spare time), working in my flower gardens, and cooking at B.R. Brunson's restaurant. Most importantly, being with my granddaughter, Maeby and grandson, Cash.
