The patient’s clergy is asked to be a part of the Hospice team to serve as a spiritual counselor. If the patient does not have a church affiliation, Hospice will make the Hospice Chaplain or a member of the community clergy available upon request.

Whenever the need is for Communion, prayer, or simply to talk...the services of a minister, priest, or rabbi are seen as an important part of spiritual care services.
